I am proud to serve as the Financial Advisor, President, Owner, and Financial Professional at Zircon Financial Services. With 27 years in the financial industry, I specialize in crafting tailored, holistic financial plans for each of my clients. My journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Motel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Resort Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. As a manager in a New York City hotel, I had the privilege of meeting the CEO of a prominent financial firm. His dedication to advising clients, particularly during pivotal moments like the NFL and NBA draft weeks, inspired me to enter the world of financial advising.
As an athlete, I am passionate about working with professional athletes to set financial goals and devise strategies to achieve them. My time serving in the US Army, both as a reservist and on active duty post-9/11, opened my eyes to the importance of financial preparedness, driving me to focus my career on financial planning. During my active duty, I earned an MBA from Tour University, a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University, and a ChFC designation from The American College of Financial Planning.
In 2019, I founded Zircon Financial Services, leveraging my extensive experience, government benefits knowledge, and passion for helping others. Building this business from the ground up, I faced numerous challenges, including skepticism from those who doubted my success as a woman in a male-dominated industry. Yet, I persevered and continued to grow my business.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I now reside in Virginia with my husband, Paul. Family is incredibly important to me, with my sister, Joselyn, as my close confidant and my mother, Linda, as my inspiration. Zircon Financial is named after my mother’s birthstone, a tribute to her encouragement in pursuing my dreams. A foodie at heart, I love exploring good restaurants and find my Zen in cooking for large gatherings. Staying active is vital to me, and I enjoy rowing, golfing, and hiking.
